The film, which tells the relationship between father and daughter after the death of her mother due to Covid, in an immigrant family living in New York, made its world premiere with the Tribeca Film Festival 2021 “Best Short Fiction” award. Variety magazine included Leylak among its 2022 Oscar predictions. The film returned with awards from many festivals and its journey still continues.
